Below are a number of meal ideas and fun families activities to keep things fun and healthy this July! Together we are working towards, clearer and healthier mind sets. We are going to work closely with our parents offering support and guidance where needed and help to educate the children on why being healthy and active can make a better lifestyle and future for them and their families. As Jacqueline's Gems does not believe in boredom there will be no sitting down! We believe in learning through play, learning on the job, learning through practical activities instead. Therefore JG's have set out a bunch of weekly themes and everyone will enjoy a variety of activities, games and quizzes, plus offering chances to make, taste, mark, create and look and listen. Our aim is to get the children to gain an understanding of what a healthy lifestyle balance is and how easy it is to make and work on.
To support Holiday Activities and Food Programme facilitators over the Christmas holidays, Aldi and the Get Set to Eat Fresh team have specially collated a range of our resources which support resilience, character and wellbeing and provide enriching activities to deepen their knowledge of health, nutrition and active lifestyles.
Kooth is a free online mental health and wellbeing service available to all young people in Bexley aged 10-25. There is also a range of other support including: an online interactive magazine, discussion boards, self-help tools, and wellbeing activities.
